Families have the freedom to choose the classes that best fit their students’ interests, learning styles, and educational goals. Each class is offered as an individual 4–6 week unit, allowing students to explore a specific topic or area of study. Families may also combine multiple units within a subject area to create a full year of coursework. For students in grades 6–12, full-year subject courses may include the option to earn high school credit when appropriate.
Whether you want to attend on a specific month, a combination of months, or the entire year — the choice is YOURS!
Our courses feature thoughtful Socratic discussion, engaging group learning, and carefully selected topics inspired by a variety of homeschool methods. Optional lesson plans and assignments are available for families who would like to continue learning at home, expand coursework, or provide additional documentation for credit.

Over tea and treats, we’ll enjoy thoughtful discussion and shared reflection as we explore the ideas, stories, and beauty behind each selection. Students will explore engaging literature through thoughtful discussion, guided analysis, and collaborative conversations. Each unit focuses on a carefully selected book, encouraging students to examine characters, themes, writing style, historical context, and the deeper ideas presented by the author. Through Socratic discussion, students will develop critical thinking skills, strengthen reading comprehension, and learn to express their ideas with confidence. Optional reading guides and at-home activities are available for families who would like to extend learning beyond the classroom.

This Life & Earth Science course for grades 6–8 invites students to explore the natural world through the study of botany, ecosystems, kingdoms and classification, arthropods, and geology. Through engaging lessons, hands-on activities, observation, and thoughtful discussion, students will investigate how living things are organized, how organisms interact within ecosystems, and how Earth’s physical features are formed and changed. Students will develop scientific reasoning, curiosity, and a deeper appreciation for the complexity and order of the natural world.

Students will learn how to study and better understand God’s Word through verse mapping, topical studies, and the exploration of specific books of the Bible. Each unit will examine biblical theology, historical and literary context, and practical life application, helping students grow in their knowledge of Scripture and develop meaningful, lifelong Bible study skills.

This history course explores significant people, events, and traditions that have shaped the world, including U.S. federal holidays, the Titanic, the Holocaust, the U.S. military, and enduring mysteries from throughout history. Students will participate in Socratic discussions and hands-on activities that build critical-thinking skills and deepen their understanding of the past.

Students will develop confident, effective writing skills through a series of focused units designed to build organization, clarity, and strong communication. Each unit provides instruction and practice in key writing skills, including developing ideas, creating well-structured paragraphs and essays, strengthening vocabulary, and refining a personal writing style.
Families have the flexibility to choose individual units based on their student’s needs or combine all units together to create a complete English course. Through guided instruction, models, discussion, and hands-on practice, students will learn a practical writing process for planning, drafting, revising, and polishing their work while gaining skills that support academic success and lifelong communication.

Parent Will Provide: Spiral Notebook, Yellow Highlighter, & 3 Pens (1 blue, 1 black, 1 green) Red=parent/teacher only.
High School Credit: Advanced essay additions and rubrics provided.
Grading: For this course, and due to continued requests from families, Liberty Grace Academy will evaluate and assign grades for final essays in Units 2-8.
