Students will learn how to study and better understand God’s Word through verse mapping, topical studies, and the exploration of specific books of the Bible. Each unit will examine biblical theology, historical and literary context, and practical life application, helping students grow in their knowledge of Scripture and develop meaningful, lifelong Bible study skills.
Unit Schedule:
September: Verse Mapping Scripture
October: How to Study the Bible
November: The Daniel Code
January: Assorted Psalms
February: Ephesians
March: Titus
April: Galatians
May: 1 2 3 John
Register á la carte or combine 4 units for a ½ high school elective credit. Combine all 8 units for a full high school elective credit.
Teacher Will Provide: Journals, Studies, Handouts
Parent Will Provide: Bible (any translation), 6 assorted highlighters or colored pencils, pen, The Daniel Code ($10 on Amazon)
High School Credit: Suggested assignments/projects/essay prompts provided.
Grading: For this class, parents are responsible for assigning grades, while Liberty Grace Academy provides engaging instruction and meaningful learning experiences.
