Step into a rich, seasonal exploration of beauty, story, and creativity. Each class is inspired by the changing rhythms of the year, inviting students to discover a new seasonal theme through memorable poetry, beloved works of art, and inspiring composers. Over tea and treats, we’ll enjoy thoughtful discussion and shared reflection as we explore the ideas, stories, and beauty behind each selection. From autumn harvests to spring gardens, this course nurtures curiosity, imagination, and an appreciation for the arts—one delightful season at a time.
Unit Schedule:
September: Fall Leaves, Cole, Wagner, & Dickinson
October: Happy Harvest, Van Gogh, Grieg, & Crapsey
November: Gratitude, Millet, Haydn, Frost
January: All Things New, DaVinci, Bach, Alcott
February: Love, Rembrandt, Liszt, Hughes
March: Hope, Bonheur, Saint-Saëns, Yates
April: Spring, Monet, Vivaldi, Rosetti
May: Energy, Velasquez, Copland, Whittier
Register á la carte or combine all units for a full year of study.
Teacher Will Provide: All in class resources: pictures, discussions, tea and treats.
Parent Will Provide: Teacher will provide all resources for this class.
High School Credit: Suggested projects/essay prompts provided.
Grading: For this class, parents are responsible for assigning grades, while Liberty Grace Academy provides engaging instruction and meaningful learning experiences.
